Snap One to Unveil World’s First AI-Powered Drone Speaker
Snap One to release first-of-its-kind airborne sound system later this year, pending Federal Aviation Administration approval.
Snap One, an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of smart-living technology for professionals and consumers, is set to release a revolutionary product sometime in Q3 of 2024. The “In-Air Speaker” is a category-defining piece of technology that has analysts and industry insiders stomping their feet but also scratching their heads.
“Snap One is deeply committed to innovation and we are ecstatic to present audio lovers and partygoers with a new way to enjoy their favorite content,” said Eric Harper, SVP of Product Marketing at Snap One. “We try to anticipate our Partners’ and customers’ needs and innovate new solutions before they even know what’s possible. This is the type of product that nobody asked for—and that’s exactly why we made it.”
A Snap One product development representative who requested to remain anonymous shared that the company worked with a headlining artist in the recording industry to develop technical specifications on the In-Air Speaker. The recording artist, who also requested anonymity, has been a longtime anti-hero in music and entertainment but said that they are “Excited for new eras of music listening and look forward to a cruel summer full of beautiful airborne soundscapes.”
While Snap One will not be debuting physical prototypes any time soon, the company said that partners and consumers who want to pre-order and learn more can click on this link to get details and tech specs.
