Highlights on this project include:
Extensive use of motion sensors to automate the LED strip and task lighting throughout the house and eliminate the need to operate light switches. The system integrates with the heating system and also knows when there are more than just two people in the house, changing when it would turn lights on/off in anticipation of someone else’s arrival and playing music in certain areas, depending on occupancy.
A floating bed in the master bedroom is illuminated underneath by a subtle glow from 1800k of ultra warm white Vibrant LED strips which gradually increase in colour temperature from before the curtains open until the occupants are awake.
Extensive external lighting including a Vibrant LED strip around the perimeter of the garden and stairs for dynamic illumination.
A strong visual appeal to the LED strips not only when they are turned on, but also when they are off. Black diffusers are used on all the ground floor LED strips, integrating them into the overall design theme of the house to match lighting keypads, stair spindles and metal doorframes.
