This policy serves as a foundation for Snap One’s commitment to promoting and upholding human rights. We strive to create an inclusive and responsible business environment that respects the dignity and rights of all individuals.
Commitment to Human Rights
Snap One is committed to respecting and promoting human rights in all aspects of our operations. We recognize the inherent value of human life and the importance of preserving the basic human values vital to our social and economic communities.
Equal Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination
We are dedicated to providing equal opportunities and fair treatment to all employees, customers, users, and stakeholders. We firmly prohibit discrimination based on race, color, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Our commitment to upholding the dignity of all people is reflected in our Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination Policy prohibiting any conduct that would subject our personnel from harassment or foster an offensive or hostile work environment.
Labor and Employment Practices
We uphold fair and ethical employment practices. We comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including those concerning wages, working hours, occupational health and safety, freedom of association, and the prohibition of forced or child labor, as well as the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of2010 as provided in our Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy . We stand against modern slavery and do not accept forced, indentured, or prison labor.
Privacy and Data Protection
We are fully committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our customers and users. We handle personal information responsibly and ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. We prioritize user consent, transparency, and the security of personal data. For detailed information, please refer to our company’s Privacy Policy.
Supply Chain Responsibility
We extend our commitment to human rights throughout our supply chain. We expect our suppliers, contractors, and business partners to adhere to human rights standards, including fair labor practices, responsible sourcing, environmental responsibility, as well as adherence to our Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Policy.
To enforce these standards, we have established a Partner Code of Conduct that clearly articulates our expectations concerning human rights standards. We actively seek partnerships with businesses and individuals that share our commitment to ethical, respectful, and responsible business practices.
Grievance Mechanisms
We provide clear and accessible channels for employees, customers, and stakeholders to report human rights concerns or grievances. We ensure confidentiality, non-retaliation, prompt investigation, and resolution of complaints. To ensure an independent reporting mechanism, we provide a Whistleblower Hotline operated by a trusted third party, available 24/7 at (855) 495-2760. This hotline provides a mechanism for our partners and employees to report any instances of suspected noncompliance.
Continuing Improvement
We recognize that respecting human rights is an ongoing process. We strive to continuously enhance our understanding of human rights issues and integrate best practices into our operations. We regularly monitor our operations and proactively address any potential human rights risks or impacts.
